The Classic Catio is the best!!

This Classic Catio is the best. I bought it for my sister because her bengal loves to go outside all the time. He is a much happier cat now. He likes being outdoor off the leashes now, and is outside more now. The Catio was pretty easy to setup. The Classic Catio is a great quality goo buy. I am so happy I bought this for my sister. Her cat loves it.

Great system - but needed augmentation to stop our clever kitties!

We had a previous cat containment system for our yard that wasn’t working for our newer cats - a beautiful stray cat we found in the wilderness and her three kittens. We needed to replace it, and so we removed the non-functioning old one and ordered the catnetting system.

Installation required some special considerations at corners and gates, something that wasn’t in the instructions and we needed to puzzle out, but we did get great and quick help from their support staff. It took a while to install since there are a lot of pieces, but I was very impressed at how well thought-out and flexible/durable/robust the system was.

Unfortunately, once it was up it kept our cats in for about three minutes before they figured out how to escape. (We were of course crestfallen, but had expected as much.) That’s probably not the case for most people’s cats, but our cats - especially our male and the mother cat - are very athletic and smart, and they’re very hard to contain.

To make a long story short, we augmented the system with several new refinements after every escape. We were able to do this primarily with surplus materials provided in the catnetting shipment, as well as a couple trips to the local hardware store. Now our cats are fully staying in the yard - here’s hoping it stays that way! (I plan on contacting Catnetting to give them some tips on how we managed to contain our escape-artist cats - hopefully they can make that available to everyone.)

Simply the best

I’m absolutely in love this company! My indoor cats love going outside in the summer. I have a fenced in backyard, but sometimes they manage to escape over the top. Ive been using a cheap plastic snow barrier fence along the top to keep them inside. It rips, it falls, and it’s just plain ugly. I’ve looked for an easy and reasonably priced alternative for so long. Everything seems outrageously priced and not what I really wanted. When I found Catnets, I thought I’d try it out after doing a lot of research and reading many reviews. I’m in love with it! It took some time to put up. So you have to be willing to put in the time and effort for this kind of project, but the results are amazing. I couldn’t be happier. It’s not an eyesore which is a huge plus. In fact I can hardly see it until I’m near it. It keeps my cats in the yard, and I feel like I don’t have to keep my eyes on them every minute. They are happier and I am happier. It has held up great so far. What I really appreciate the most was that the company was willing to ship me free samples to see the fencing firsthand and to help me choose what type of netting worked best for my personal needs. That is very important for me on a large purchase like this. I really can’t rave enough about this cat netting or company enough!

Fantastic Product

We just got an escape artist cat and so we purchased the stainless reinforced netting this time. This is our third catio project that we have used cat netting for but the first time with the stainless. I thought it was a bit easier to work with as it was stiffer and held shape better for installation. We enclosed an attached patio cover to prevent our cats from dashing out the door and escaping into the yard and beyond. One of our cats has really been working on biting through the netting but I cannot see any damage despite her best efforts. The stainless reinforced netting is the way to go if you have any cats that will be testing it.

Easy to set up, cats love it

Great product! We were looking for a temporary second catio and this was a quick and solid option

My cats love it!

The catio was super easy to set up. Significant other and I did it in a couple of hours (with a minimum of squabbles!) Cats are out there as much as possible, although I do not let them stay out at night. It's attractive and easy to clean in. Also sturdy. I attached it to a patio that is adjacent to a sunroom where it is protected and stable. Definitely recommend!

Worked Great!

For some reason Catnets thinks I only bought a roll of rope and want me to review it. Silliness. I actually bought netting, wire, turnbuckles, crimpers, crimps, and concrete anchors with which I wanted to enclose my rear patio. This was not done for the benefit of my cats, which already enjoy the entire backyard "catio" (can't get under, thru, or over the fence), but to save my patio's large windows from "Not Tiger Woods" slicing tee shots from the golf course behind my house into said windows and breaking them again and again.

I found the install pretty simple; the hardest part was drilling into my stucco (easier than I thought, actually) and then weaving 80 feet of the rope into the edges of the netting (tedious).

After a couple of days I have one 14 foot long, 8 foot high opening 'enclosed' and the other side - only about 5 foot wide by 8 foot high, setup to
allow me to open the panel like a shower curtain for access to the back yard. I used caribiners (spring clips) to attach the top of the netting to the wire, allowing it to move side to side. I hard-attached one side of the netting to the left side wire, and used about 10 sets of small bar magnets attached to both the right-side wire and the edge of the netting to hold it closed and taught when I want it closed. It works magically, holds the netting tight enough to bounce golf balls but can be pulled completely open for backyard access as necessary with ease..

Bonus: since I put it up, the cats seem to enjoy hanging out on the patio behind the netting, which I like as it reduces the chances they'll get nailed by "not Tiger Woods" firing golf balls into the property. They can get in and out of the patio into/from the back yard easily as the bottoms of my nets are not secured; they just go under them to get out and back in.

I'm completely happy with my purchase, as the other alternative was to enclose the patio, which would have destroyed much of the view (from inside the house) of the golf course and mountains I so enjoy.

Great product. Thinking of new ways to use it (allow the cats access to an upstairs balcony, perhaps).

Sturdy, solid, easy to install

Application was seamless. The clips look and feel very sturdy and were so easy to install. I started with zip ties to hold the net in place and then positioned the clips at proper intervals. We now have no concerns about the materials breaking down over time in the weather.

It's exactly what we needed

Patio is secured, the girls are enjoying the outdoors. I have piece of mind. And the netting is nice and strong, so it was easy to pull it tight and not worry about it ripping or warping. We put our sun shade right over it and it's working perfectly. Thank you!

I used PVC pipe to make a big frame and then used this netting and now I have a closed in catio.

Sturdy

This product is well made and was able to be stretch fairly taunt and still hold its shape. Covered a 5’x10’ catio in three pieces which likely wouldn’t been possible with boxed rolls at stores. Custom cuts was spot on. My cats love their new space :)

Working hideaway

Great platform for my working cat.

Cat Netting Looks Like The Right Stuff

Thank you for the sample in Stone and Black. I think the stone is perfect for our back deck in Lake Oswego Oregon.

cat netting

Great product. It's lightweight enough to be used as a roof, but strong enough to keep cats in and other animals out. The reinforced edges allow endless points to secure the netting without the worries of the net tearing.

Cat net sample

It was very fady shipping and product appears to be good quality.

Works great with netting. Good value.

Love this netting!

Love this netting! Works perfectly and gives my 4 kitties the outside time they need.

High quality net that looks great when up! Can tell this will last.

Zipper door .

Zipper door is good only for the animals not for humans a trip hazard.

Catico

Two catico with this great cat netting. My cats love their rooms. No fighting or getting out on their own.

Love it!

Exactly what we needed to screen in our balcony. The netting is very well made and durable. The set up was easy for our space. We love that the black netting is low visibility! We have zero complaints and we are so grateful!

Love it! What more can I say?

Wire Rope Review

Your wire rope is good quality and performs as intended. We had no problem installing it with the aluminum crimps and turnbuckles as instructed in your videos.

Stainless steel

So far it seems great and the stuff is really tuff!
